The Schlosskeller Südsteiermark consists of two separate restaurants: the inn with 2 toques and the gourmet restaurant, in which 5- and 7-course surprise menus are offered.
SURPRISE – GOURMET MENU. The kitchen team around Markus Rath always serves the castle cellar surprise in the evening from 6:00 p.m. in our cozy gourmet room.
“The beauty of a surprise is that curiosity is always rewarded. Don't have to think, just enjoy.” explains head chef Markus Rath.
Markus Rath goes one step further with the interpretation of his gourmet cuisine. “My passion is for seasonal and local products. With a lot of creativity and attention to detail, every plate should be a surprise for our guests.”
