We guarantee you good weather: Our flying areas are only about 1.5 hours apart by car, but thanks to the main Alpine ridge as a weather divide, we can fly on the north side in the south in bad weather and vice versa. Diverse flying areas: During your high-altitude flight training, you have the opportunity to get to know different flying areas without having to change flying schools.
Year-round training: Now also in winter at Aufwind in the Murtal.

Our flying school was founded in 1988 by Anna, Franz and Rainer in Ramsau am Dachstein. To describe us - the team/the family - is quite simple: We are a large, colourful community of enthusiastic pilots who are passionate about what we do.
If you like, you are much more than just a student pilot with us, you are part of our team. Our personal interaction, more than 25 years of flight school experience and the beautiful nature around us form an ideal basis for good and intensive paragliding training and further education. Safety is the top priority in all our courses and trips, and our practice-orientated teaching method is at the heart of our work.
Our aim is to train independent and responsible pilots. Our team is a large, colourful family. They form the heart of the Aufwind flying school, the software, the soul. Some of our instructors have been flying for ‘half an eternity’ and bring with them a wealth of valuable knowledge, real skill and a sense of responsibility.
